As a self-professed Sparks fan, having only read a handful of his novels, I was intrigued by the promise of a romance with a twist. "See Me" didn't disappoint! With characters like Colin, a reformed bad boy with a heart of gold, and Maria, a determined lawyer with a haunting past, the story had me hooked from the get-go.

Their chance encounter on a stormy night leads to a whirlwind romance, but Maria's past threatens to tear them apart. The suspense kept me turning the pages, though I admit it took a bit for the story to really pick up speed.

I found myself rooting for Colin and Maria, drawn to their chemistry and the depth of their characters. And let's not forget the supporting cast—Maria's loving family and Colin's loyal friend Evan and fiancée Lily added richness to the story.
